New York Fashion Week is SO back! We can’t get enough of all the breathtaking  looks the designers, influencers, and even regular street go-ers have been serving us. Our favorite stand out trends include tailored shirts, unique knits, and bold hues. In celebration of the best week of the year, we transported our team right to the streets of NYC to bring you the chicest looks from streetwear to event-glam.

Let's start at the spot where luxurious Louis Vuitton meets skater-girl streetwear. The crosswalks of Soho serve as the city’s best real-life runaways. You’ll want to be seen strolling the high-end shops in the most undeniably fashionable looks. NYFW gave us so many edgy yet upscale looks we can’t wait to try. Major themes: Poplin shirts with sweater vests overlays, bold neon colors, and plenty of faux leather as a staple piece. 

Just a motorized bike ride away from the Soho shops lies the artsy, cobblestone filled streets of the East Village. Here you’ll find hole in the wall restaurants, dive bars, and bohemian fashion. The whimsical vibes mixed with the slighted grungy streets bring the coolest mix of East Village eccentricity. We’re seeing Fall florals, suede boots, and western vibes all over the runaway. 2021 boho means all of the eclectic 70’s vibes,  so don’t shy away from flared denim and retro sunnies. 

Hop on the subway and ride north towards Central Park and the glorious brownstones. The Upper West Side is full of private school go-ers and relaxed bistros. Think Blair Waldorf sprawled out across the steps of The Met with her extremely well dressed posse. Puffed sleeves, prim and proper plaids, and classroom chic are all at play here. The runaways of fashion week have been overflowing with preppy, business-casual looks that we can’t wait to style this season.

Let’s coast along the Hudson down to undoubtedly the trendiest burrough in the whole city. Tribeca is the spot to see and be seen, with high rises overlooking the expansive river. Here you’ll find girls in silk clad outfits, on their way to swanky brunch restaurants. Mile high heels and expensive looking satin two-pieces rule the streets here. The quintessential vibe of Manhattan is dressed-up glam any day of the week, and we certainly saw that all over the runways this year. Whether you’re seeing a Broadway musical, getting dinner at Carbone, or grabbing drinks at Acme, there is always something to dress up for. Fancy tulle skirts and pleated dresses embody the city that never sleeps. These glamorous evening-out looks are so fun to style with beaded headbands and contrasting graphic tees. 

We’re concluding our tour right in the heart of NYC: Times Square. NYFW’s top designers told us that primary colors are taking the spotlight this Fall. We love how these classic hues easily pair with distressed denim and black details.
