I literally received this yesterday & a cool front came in so I wore it out to a street fair with live music, I got so many compliments! It's a thick woven heavy flannel like material & much warmer than a standard light jacket. Perfect for the always cold girlies like me. The only issue is I wish the neck area was lined with a softer material because it's a bit scratchy, not sure if washing it would help but we'll see! A tie string to tighten the bottom would be good too but still works slightly tucked for a cropped look. I did size up for the length of the sleeves mostly & just in case it ran small. But I'd say very true to size.
